Michelle Lee Connelly came into the room. She stated to deputies she was staying in the room with Kapaldo and Whitman. She also told deputies she was in the process of counterfeiting the bills and the two men had been passing the bills.
Graceville DJJ Center to Close in June

The Graceville Vocational Youth Center will be closing it’s door this June, with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice citing poor performance as the reason for its closure.

Circuit court Judge Richard Albritton has announced his resignation, according to a letter he sent to Governor Charlie Crist’s office on March 9th.
South Walton Woman Pleads No Contest to Real Estate Fraud

This week, a South Walton County woman pled “no contest” in Circuit Court in reference to running a property management firm without a license.
Prescribed Burn set for Saturday Near Eglin

The burn is heavily dependent on favorable weather conditions. Jackson Guard will attempt to conduct the burn between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Five Arrested in Washington County on Drug Charges

During the drug raid, methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia was found. Numerous resources were utilized in the investigations including the K-9, citizen tips and the hard work of both officers and investigators.
