A Bay County Football Player Is One Of Thirty Semi Finalists For A National Award

After posting record numbers at Arnold High School for the last three years, Arnold Marlin Running Back Jeremy Hester is now being recognized for what’s called the four C’s.

Hester was one of 396 nominees around the country for the Rudy Award and now he is one of the 30 semi finalists.
The Rudy Award is named after Daniel ‘Rudy’ Ruettiger. The subject of the film Rudy.
The Award is not given to the player with the best stats, but given to the player that has shown what Rudy calls “the four c’s”: character, courage, contribution and commitment.
Three finalists will be selected with the winner receiving a $10,000 scholarship and the two runners-up each receiving a $5,000 scholarship.
The three winners will be announced february 3rd.
