Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Panama City business at gunpoint.
It happened around 10:15 p.m. Friday at Steak House Distributing at 1124 Chestnut Avenue.
Police say a black man armed with a handgun went into the business and demanded money. The victim handed the suspect an unknown amount of money, and the suspect ran off.
The victim chased after the man but wasn’t able to catch him.
Investigators say they’re not sure if this incident is related to other robberies that have happened in recent weeks.
The suspect described as a black male about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds. He was last seen running north on Chestnut Avenue.
