Arrest Made in Business Burglary

The Bonifay Police Department on Tuesday arrested Tommy Warren Burnham, 36, of Bonifay. Burnham has been charged with burglary of a structure and grand theft in relation to the break-in at Middlebrooks Contractors Inc. occurring on June 2nd.

The majority of the stolen property has been recovered and returned to the business. Burnham was identified as a possible suspect in the crime by a law enforcement officer who viewed the surveillance footage. The shirt worn by Burnham during the burglary was recovered at Burnham’s residence while officers conducted a consensual search.

Burnham has been booked into the Holmes County Jail and awaits first appearance before the Honorable Judge Owen Powell.
