UPDATE: Victim’s Name Released in Bay County Hit and Run

Authorities continue to investigate a hit and run.

Panama City Beach Police have named the victim in Friday night’s hit and run accident as Panama City Beach Resident Lanny Spann.

Police say Spann was trying to cross Back Beach Parkway in the area of Argonaut Street at around 11:30 Friday night, when she was hit by an unknown vehicle that was traveling eastbount on Back Beach Parkway.

Witnesses state that a white SUV may have been involved.

Lanny suffered major injuries to her leg and was taken to Bay Medical Center for treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to please call the Panama City Beach Police Department at 233-5000.

If the Bay County judges weren’t so soft on the local cocaine dealers then maybe there wouldn’t be so many crack heads out running people down!

What a disgrace the Bay County judges are!
