Bay District School Calendar Committee Recommends Later School Start Date

The Bay District School Calendar Committee is trying to find a compromise on the school start date.

The school board announced several weeks ago that the start date would be moved back to August 4th. Many community businesses and parents expressed concerns about the change, so school officials say today the committee decided to recommend the date of August 11th to the school board at the next meeting.
