A woman is charged with the murder of her husband after blaming the death on an accident involving the family dog.
Bay County authorities say 32-year-old Sabrina Griffin shot and killed her husband, 33-year-old Brian Griffin, at around 4:30 this morning at their home at 16609 Rollohome Road in Fountain.
Investigators say Sabrina Griffin initially told them her husband was accidentally shot when the family dog knocked over a rifle that was in the home and it discharged, hitting her husband.
Brian Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene.
They say Sabrina Griffin changed her account of the incident several times throughout this afternoon.
She is charged with an open count of Murder.
