Southport, Fla:
Most of the fields around the panhandle are empty now during the day, but not up at Bozeman, the Bucks are still in full practice mode as they prepare for their first ever football playoff game Friday night against South Walton.
The (5-4) Bucks are the runners-up in District 2- Class 2B. They’ll be traveling to South Walton to take on the (8-2) Seahawks who claimed their first District 1- Class 2B title in school history.
Coach Tillman said his players are excited and ready to hit the field.
“I think there is a lot of excitement. I think that we had a great week of practice. We kind of have known for about three or four weeks that we were going to be in the playoffs. We’ve waited several weeks to find out who we are exactly playing. Since they had the playoff over there and we figured out it would be South Walton and we kind of settled on who we are playing and where. The anticipation has definitely been playing out and I think we are going to have a good time tomorrow night,” said Tillman.
