Gulf County, Fla:

A group gathered at WindMark Beach in Gulf County thinks that life is pretty good when you’ve got bratwurst on the beach.
“Brats on the Beach” is a fundraiser for the Gulf County Humane Society and Gulf County’s Centers for Disease Control People Helping People Program. 

Those participating could eat bratwurst for a mere $5 while listening to live music and enjoying their pets’ company. 

Last year the group raised $1,300 to benefit both organizations.

This year they hope to bring in $2,000 or more to help buy food for animals at the Humane Society and food for needy humans through the CDC’s People Helping People Program.
