The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Marcus Omar Morehead, B/M, 26 Years of Age from Panama City, Florida. At approximately 10:00 pm on September 1, 2008, Morehead entered the fenced in area of Rexall Southern Electric at 499 S. Hwy 231 with the intent to steal wire to be sold as scrap metal. Patrol Officers arrested Morehead while he was attempting to break through a reinforced window that led to the interior of the business. Morehead was interviewed by Detectives and was subsequently charged with one count of Burglary. Morehead was then transported to the Bay County Jail to await first appearance.
