Working together is the theme in Calhoun County, as government, schools and chamber members gather to discuss the future.

Members of the Board of Calhoun County Commissioners, the Blountstown City Council, the Altha Town Council and the Calhoun County School Board made up this combined committee. They presented their final strategic plan and the rural economic development catalyst project. Both were approved.

They plan to hold these meetings twice a year to discuss progress and future projects.
