Local organizations are working together to keep kids safe.
Safe Kids Emerald Coast and Panama City Beach Fire Rescue conducted a child car seat safety inspection Saturday.
Many parents met at the Grand Opening of The Dollar Tree store in Pier Park to have their child’s car seat checked.
Parents tell News 13 they appreciate the chance to learn how to keep their kids as safe as possible while in the car.
