The “Take Charge of Your Diabetes” program will include eight classes taught by qualified educators and health professionals. Nutrition consultations with a registered dietitian and blood pressure measurements are included. Classes will run from March 15 to May 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be held at the Bay County Extension Office, located at 2728 E. 14th St., the old Cedar Grove City Hall.
If you have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, are at least 21 years old and want to find out if you are eligible, please call the Extension office at 784-6105 by March 10. The $75 cost includes program materials and services. A limited number of partial scholarships are available to individuals based on income.
