If your commute takes you through DeFuniak Springs, you might want to give yourself some extra time this week because of road construction.

The Florida Department of Transportation says crews will start work in the median of Highway 331 near the intersection of Business Park Road.

Northbound and southbound traffic will be cut to one lane in each direction.

Drivers are urged to use caution and watch for heavy equipment and workers.

The project is set to be complete in the next two to three weeks.
