Walton County, Fla:
Two people lose their lives on Walton County roads this weekend.
The Florida Highway Patrol says 21 year-old Rafeal Darnell of Crestview was driving west on Highway 90 when his car ran off the road around 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
The car started spinning before crashing into a tree. Darnell was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Texas man died Friday after two cars collide on I-10 at mile marker 77 around 6:15 p.m.
Troopers say a Dodge Viper crossed the median into oncoming traffic and hit a BMW traveling in the opposite direction. The 61 year-old driver of the Viper was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are not releasing the man’s name pending notification of family. The two people in the other car, David Morneault of Destin and Alicia Osborne of Crestview, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
