Defuniak Springs, Fla:
The DeFuniak Springs Police Department embarked on another joint operation “crime sweep” with the State Attorney’s Office and the local office of Florida State Probation Thursday, October 29, 2009. The officers involved visited local known locations of illegal drug activity, local residences, and individuals on State Probation that live inside the DeFuniak Springs City Limits.
During the “crime sweep”, Abraham Koppell was arrested by the local office of Florida State Probation. Koppell was charged with Felony Violation of Probation for owning and/or possessing obscene pornographic, sexually stimulating visual or auditory material. The arrest was made during a search of his residence. Koppell was transported to the Walton County Jail by the DeFuniak Springs Police on the behalf of Florida State Probation.
