Capt. Phillipe Delavault’ is from France. He has been captaining ships on the high seas for 30 years. He loves to takes his cruise liners to Alaska, where he can offer tours of the coastline channels.
Capt. Phillipe, as he is called, says technology has improved the way he guides a ship through deep waters. Computers are included in the equipment on the bridge.
On the Regent Seven Seas Mariner, the bridge was open to our cameras and News13’s Amy Hoyt.
