Bay County, Fla:
In Bay County, one person is dead following an early morning crash in Springfield.
It happened around 3, Saturday morning, on Tyndall Parkway near 12th Street. The Florida Highway Patrol says an SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and hit a pine tree.
The two passengers were thrown from the vehicle and were transported to the hospital in serious condition. The driver, 27 year old Jerry Ray Jr. of Panama City was pronounced dead at the scene.
That section of Tyndall Pkwy was closed as authorities investigated.
