Two car accidents have claimed the lives of three people says Florida Highway Patrol.
The first accident happened in Jackson County around noon Sunday. According to an FHP release, 82 year-old Nell Whittle of Sneads was traveling West on State Road 10 near West Bank Road in her Lincoln Town Car when she crossed the center line of traffic and hit eastbound 81 year-old Ivory McMillan head on. Whittle was pronounced dead about four hours after the accident. FHP says McMillan was uninjured.
At four eastern, a single car driven by 21-year-old Brittany Robosky of Callaway, left the roadway on County Road 386, just north of the Overstreet Bridge. The Florida Highway Patrol says she over corrected, losing control and eventually colliding with a tree.
Florida Highway Patrol says Robosky and her passenger, 28-year-old James Brock of Panama City died at the scene. A second passenger, 35-year-old Cory Nelezen of Callaway is listed in serious condition.
