Fire destroys a mobile home, leaving a Bay County family homeless.
The fire was reported at around 6:45 p.m. Saturday at the Sherman Pines Mobile Home Park at 1940 Sherman Avenue.
Bay County fire crews arrived to find flames and smoke coming from the trailer.
No injuries were reported. Family friends on the scene tell News 13 the woman and her children who live in the home were not home when the fire started.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family with things like temporary shelter, food, and clothing.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
