Tallahassee, Fla:
Florida has 9 new millionaires today. They are the latest winners of a unique Lottery game called “Holiday Millionaire Raffle.”
The game sold a limited number of tickets and that guaranteed winners at four different price levels.
One-thousand players win $500, twelve players win $5,000, ten people earn $50,000 and nine lucky winners take home $1 million.
The Lottery Department reports the Millionaire Raffle is one of its most popular annual games. Spokeswoman Jackie Barreiros says players were writing letters encouraging the department to offer the game again.
A total of 1,031 players won prizes in the raffle today. You can see the winning numbers at www.flalottery.com.

Looks real funny to me. I know some will say it is because there are more people down there but just look at most of the big winners in Lotto, Down there. I guess we do not have enough rich people here like down there to waste hard earned money on them games. The pay down there is alot better than here (I know it costs more to live there) But you know how that goes, Just my comment.
Is it just me or does it seem that most of the lottery big winners come from down south? Could it be that they have more money to purchase more lottery tickets or is it that the fix is in down south?
