Cottondale Police Chief William Watford confirmed that alleged robbery suspect Toriano Decoryell Grant has been arrested.
Enterprise, Ala. police arrested Grant Friday on a warrant for murder and robbery. Grant is the fourth suspect in a burglary that turned into a murder in Cottondale in September. Police say that Grant, Joshua Pullum, Willie Lloyd III and Kendrick Brown broke into the home of 75-year-old Alfred Delk to rob him. Delk was beaten during the theft and later died from his injuries.
Major Donnie Branch of the Jackson County Sheriff’‘s Office said Friday night that Grant was in the Enterprise jail, but would be brought back to Jackson County “just as soon as can possibly get him here” to face the charges against him.
