It’s a night of food, music, and thank you’s at the Florida State University Panama City annual dinner.  School officials say the dinner is a time to let everyone know about the exciting things going on at the University, including a new building and grants the school has received in the past year.  The annual event also gives the University a chance to recognize it’s many donors for all of their support.

“We have many endowed scholarships on our campus that have been created by people in the local community, either corporations or individuals,” Dean George DePuy.

DePuy says the new building on campus will allow the University to double it’s enrollment.  He says that won’t happen right away, but he hopefully in the near future.
