Chipley, Fla:
During early hours of Thursday morning, November 12, 2009, K-9 Officer J. Webb and Officer M. Mullins of the Chipley Police Department, arrested Norris Wynn for multiple outstanding warrants from Jackson County involving 8 counts of drug related charges, 2 counts of resisting an officer without violence, Aggravated fleeing and eluding and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Officers discovered Wynn during a traffic stop on Hwy 77, where he had given a false name. Wynn, who has been evading law enforcement for at least 9 months, was arrested and found to be in possession of Crack Cocaine, a large quantity of Marijuana, scales and baggies.
Wynn was transported to the Washington County jail where he was charged by the Chipley Police Department with Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute, Possession of crack cocaine, Resisting an Officer without violence and Introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.
