Bay County, Fla:
If you need help obtaining financial aid to attend college, be sure to attend the “Cash for College – Financial Aid Night” at Gulf Coast Community College on March 25. The Cash for College event brings financial aid experts together with students and their families in one place to fill out the necessary financial aid forms.
“Students have access to billions in federal funds available for college,” said Lauren Armstrong, assistant coordinator, Financial Aid. “Because the forms constantly change, it’s great for students and families to get one-on-one help in filling those forms out. Also, there are extra grants students can qualify for just by completing the FAFSA early.”
“Cash for College” night will be held on Thursday, March 25, from 6 – 8 p.m. in Student Union East, room 246. Those who want to fill out the financial aid forms at the event should bring a driver’s license, student and parents’ Social Security numbers, 2009 Tax Return or W-2, and untaxed income information (such as child support).
For more information about “Cash for College” night or Financial Aid, please contact Armstrong at 769-1551, ext. 3240.
