When using a grill start by cleaning the burners by scraping off the old grease that can clog up the ports.

Also make sure you inspect your propane tank before fire up the grill.  The tank should be replaced every three to four years.

For gas grills, be sure to check the tubes that lead to the burners for any imperfections and never use them indoors.

Grill should be at least 10 feet away from any structure.

And make sure you clean out your drip pan.  Grease from food drips into the pan and if it’s not cleaned regularly it could pose a fire hazard.

User Comments

If you are going to use gas(propane) to grill why not just cook inside on the regular stove. Outside grilling is done with charcoal or wood…the old fashion way. The food taste so much better.
