PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE
DATE: 6-26-09
TO: St. Joe Beach Water Customers from Sea Shores Drive east to the Beach Booster Station at 6202 W. Hiway 98
Due to an accidental break to the water main or a need to repair a water line that supplies your drinking water, there is a concern for possible contamination. Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking or cooking be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may used for these purposes.
When the main has been repaired and flushed. A bacteriological sample of the water will be collected and sent to the laboratory. This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the bacteriological sample shows the water is safe to drink.
