Investigators are on the scene of a reported hit and run accident in Laguna Beach. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office received the call around 7:30 Sunday night.
Officials say a truck hit a 42 year old man near the intersection of Delmar Drive and Broderick Place. Emergency responders say they found the man lying on the roadside near a chain link fence.
He reportedly had a deep laceration to his abdomen and a possible broken jaw with multiple cuts on his face. Emergency responders believe the man suffered the injuries when the truck hit him and threw him into the fence. There are few details so far about the suspected vehicle except that authorities are looking for a black truck.
