HURLBURT FIELD, FL – Due to the current projected path of Tropical Storm Ida, all non-mission critical personnel are released as of 3:00 p.m. No base deliveries will be accepted after 6 p.m. The base exchange and commissary will be closed Tuesday, while the dining facilities will be open normal hours. The shoppette will close at 8 p.m. Monday and re-open at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Nov. 10:
• Hurlburt Field will operate with mission critical personnel for base reconstitution only
• The child development center and youth center will be closed
• The commissary and base exchange will be closed
• The mini-mall will be closed
• The fitness centers will be closed
• The Commando Fitness Center will remain open as a base shelter
• Normal operations on Hurlburt will resume Nov. 12 unless otherwise directed
