Marianna, Fla:

The Jackson County Courthouse is evacuated Thursday morning.

Jackson County Sheriff Lou Roberts says a Jackson County Courthouse worker came to work Thursday morning to find an American Flag folded up with a Bible on top on at the front doors of the building. When a Sheriff Deputy picked-up the bible they found a white substance underneath.

Five people were quarantined. The Bay County Fire Department sent a hazmat unit to the Jackson County Courthouse. The unit assisted with decontamination issues. They also worked to identify the substance in the field.

Sheriff Roberts says the substance was found to be not harmful.  The Jackson County Courthouse opened after lunch.
