Jenks Avenue Accident

A car accident leaves one man in critical condition after he crashes into a power pole Wednesday afternoon.

The accident took place near the intersection of 13th Street and Jenks Avenue in Panama City around 2:00 p.m.

Officials say the driver of the vehicle was travelling down Jenks Avenue when he crashed into a pole, crushing the front of the car.

Panama City Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene, they say a pre-existing medical emergency could have caused the driver to lose control.

The driver’s name has not yet been released.
