The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office expects to clear a number of burglaries that occurred in Holmes County over the past two years. On December 1st, Jackson County Deputies arrested Patrick Wilson Hudson (48) while he was in the process of burglarizing a Jackson County Home. The subsequent investigation, involving Holmes, Jackson and Washington County Sheriff’s Offices as well as Alabama authorities, revealed that Hudson and his wife Angela had been involved in a crime spree for at least two years.
The Hudson’s had previously resided in Bonifay and had moved to Sunny Hills approximately six months ago. The couple routinely traveled around during daylight hours locating homes while the owners were at work. They then burglarized the homes taking jewelry, cameras, video games, appliances, tools, cash and food items. Some of the stolen property was used in the Hudson’s home and several items were sold locally. Patrick Hudson is currently in the Jackson County Jail where he is being held on an $80,000 bond, along with warrants from Holmes County. Anyone with information about this case or any criminal activity is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers of Holmes County at 866-689-8477. You do not have to give your name and you may be entitled to a cash reward of up to $1,000.
