A state probation officer is arrested for driving under the influence and drug possession, while wearing women’s clothing.
According to an incident report from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, Ryder Laramore, 44, was pulled over on Highway 231 near Highway 20. Deputies reported he was wearing a dress and a blonde wig.
The report says Laramore failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for DUI. In the car, deputies also found two bags that tested positive for meth and marijuana.
Our newspaper partners at the Jackson County Floridan spoke with the Florida Department of Corrections. A spokesperson says Laramore has been employed as a state correctional probation officer since 1991.
The DOC says the status of Laramore’s employment is not affected by the incident, pending results of the criminal case.
