Circuit court Judge Richard Albritton has announced his resignation, according to a letter he sent to Governor Charlie Crist’s office on March 9th.

According to Capt. Ken Paramore of FWC, a shrimp boat capsized around 3 a.m. this morning off the Port of Panama City, near an area known locally as Bird Island.

ON 06/13/2009 officers with the Marianna Police Department were dispatched to 2828 McPherson Street in reference to a disturbance.
During investigation, officers attempted to arrest Louis John Bush, 44, for breach of peace. Bush engaged the officers in a physical confrontation. During the altercation OC (pepper spray) was deployed, and one officer received minor injuries.
Bush and the officer were treated and released from Jackson ER. Bush was booked into the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
