Marianna, Fla:
On 02-16-2010 at approximate, officers from the Marianna Police Department responded to a reported armed disturbance at 2922 Milton Avenue. Information was received a subject on scene was threatening another subject with a knife. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the parties involved. An investigation was conducted and subsequently Dewayne S. Lawrence, a 28 year old male, was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon. The investigation revealed during the verbal altercation, Dewayne Lawrence did produce a pocket knife and threaten his sister, Jenny Lawrence, and his brother, Michael Lawrence, while holding a knife. Upon his arrest, Dewayne Lawrence was found in possession of two large pocket knives. No party was injured during the incident and Dewayne Lawrence was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility for booking and first appearance.
