Bay County, Fla:
A big day at Mosley High School Wednesday as school officials honored one of it’s former student athletes by retiring his baseball jersey.
Former Dolphin standout and now Detroit Tiger right fielder Clete Thomas was honored today with a plaque and the retiring of his old jersey #3.
Clete played four years at Mosley before going to Auburn to play college ball and then was drafted by the Minnesota Twins before getting traded to Detroit.
Clete said, he hopes his hard work and success will help others to work hard to achieve their goals as well.
Clete also gave praise to the man the helped lead the dolphins to the 2002 State Championship, his former coach doug lee.
