An appeals court rules in the case of a Bay County man convicted of second degree murder and grand theft.
John Henderson, 33, was convicted and sentenced to life in prison for the April 1996 shooting death of Lawrence Pinkard.
Authorities say Pinkard was shot execution style, and his body was left in a wooded area just east of Callaway.
Authorities say Henderson and his girlfriend also stole more than $300 from Pinkard.
Today, the First District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee upheld Henderson’s conviction and sentence without comment.
