A new graduate degree in Engineered Materials Science will be offered at Florida State University Panama City in the spring 2010 semester, which begins January 6, 2010. The coursework will lead to a Master’s of Science degree in Engineered Materials Science.
Three classes will be offered in the spring 2010 semester: ECH 5934 “Materials, Thermo, Kenetics” and two different sections of “Advanced
Materials”: ECH 5934 and EML 5930. Courses will be offered on-site at FSU Panama City and through interactive webcast.

Emphasis will be placed on Department of Defense areas of current and future needs including advanced structural materials, nanomaterials, energy materials, multifunctional materials, multiscale materials and bio materials. The program will provide flexible course delivery to accommodate and enhance student participation.
