Glenn Hess says things need to change in the State Attorneys office. Hess says he believes prosecutors, especially young ones need more training. He plans to implement programs and training sessions weekly if elected. Hess also says he believes the 20 Trucks and SUVs that investigators at the State Attorneys office currently use as personal vehicles is wrong. He says they shouldn’t be getting a free ride and gas on tax payers money. He says if he can’t sell them, he will park those trucks.
On the charge that he was soft on crime as a circuit judge, Hess says that’s not true. He says the Police Benevolant Association would not have endorsed him if he was soft on crime.
When asked why voters should choose him as the next state attorney, Hess says he is competent and residents want someone competent in that office.
