Steve George taught school for 30 years and is presently working in the attendance office ESE and Student Services for Bay District Schools.Steve was a classroom teacher, coached football, track and tennis for 15 years and he was a Fellowship of Christian Students leader.
Steve George says he is in favor of the closed campus for lunch policy, although says the current policy doesn’t go far enough. A senior with parental permission can currently leave the campus. He says if elected there will be no exceptions and he will completely close all campuses.
He says if elected he will take a look at potential budget cuts like a family does when times are tough, cutting back on the frivolities and spending money on priorities, like the classroom. If elected, he says he will make sure all campuses are secure and safe for our students.
