Bay County, Fla:
Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen announced today the arrest of a Bay County man for charges relating to child pornography.
Sean G. Bussell, 04-26-74, 437 Water Oak Circle, Panama City Beach, became the target of an investigation, after an undercover internet investigation revealed someone at his home to be using the computer for the purposes of downloading child pornography. A search warrant was served on his residence and a computer was seized, which was sent to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for analysis. The analysis revealed numerous videos depicting children engaged in sexual activity with adults.
Bussell was booked into the Bay County Jail today, October 7, 2008, and charged with 6 counts of Possession of the Sexual Performance of a Child. He was later released on $10,000.00 bond.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is part of the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. This task force, which is made up of local, federal, and state agencies, works together to combat the exploitation of children on the internet. This case was made using training and equipment provided as part of this task force.
