make em buy lience, get ins.& pay TAXES all them bike riders for being for being on your roads ,right fl.tax em ,like cigarettes.take there freedom away also, put age limits
hold on folks thier is a state law that states 3 to 5 feet clearence . some cyclestdont ride in the right direction you ride with the flow of traffic not against .
To crescent1976, why are you so angry? I agree with String 100%. It’s unsafe. If you feel so strongly about it, maybe you should ask the county to invest in more bike-friendly roads. I I agree that a cyclist SHOULD have the right to be on the roads, but the fact of the matter is that it’s unsafe, period. Anyway, if you want to ride your bike, go ahead, but it doesn’t make it any safer. Good comments String.
I know that the law gives bicyclists right to be on the road, and I did not say if the motorist was in the right or not. I’m saying that due to the high traffic on some roads around panama city, cyclist should not be on them and for a pedestrians crossing these roads is not safe. Because they are not crossing at the traffic lights. You can not ride you bike on the interstate because it is again the law and unsafe.
bicyclists have every right to be on the road and motorists need to be more cautious! It was around 3pm in the afternoon! Visibilty wasn’t hampered, the driver was!
On these four lane road around panama city, due to the amount of traffic on the roads bike circles should not be on the roads. cyclist and pedestrians are hit to much on these highways.
