On 6/28/09 the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a minor child, 15 years of age, that had been sexually molested. It was reported that this act had been committed on the morning of 6/28/09 when the juvenile victim rode off with friends know by her and the sex offender identified as Kevin Chambliss which was not known by her at the time.
The parties rode to a location described as 6737 Timberlane Road in the Bascom area and upon arrival to this location it is disclosed that Kevin Chambliss did sexually molest this 15 year old child by committing an act of lewd and lascivious molestation on this child.
After the incident the victim was returned to the location where she had been picked up from allowing her the opportunity to make this report. A description of the truck offered by the victim was broadcast to other law enforcement and the vehicle was located in Marianna later in the day.
Kevin Chambliss was taken into custody initially on a charge of possession of marijuana after a K-9 alerted on the vehicle. Kevin Chambliss was positively identified as the suspect in the lewd and lascivious investigation and charged with the offense. Kevin Chambliss was lodged in the Jackson County Correctional Facility awaiting his first appearance in court. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Marianna Police Department

Sorry Pal. You picked the wrong county. You can rape, rop and plunder anywhere in Bay County and get away with it.
Oil the palm of a judge and you can get away with more than that.
