The Panama City Police Department would like to announce the temporary road closures for the 2009 Veteran’s Day Parade. On Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in downtown, on Harrison Avenue beginning at 9:00 A.M. lasting until approximately 12:00 P.M. Harrison Avenue will be temporarily closed. The parade will begin at Tommy Oliver Stadium and travel South from 13th Street to the Panama City Marina. Alternate routes traveling north and south will be via Grace or Jenks Avenue to the west of Harrison Avenue. Magnolia Avenue should be utilized for north or south travel if you are east of Harrison Avenue. Those traveling east and west that are south of 14th Street should expect temporary delays during the above listed times. We would like to thank the public in advance for their cooperation and understanding.
