The Panama City Fire Department is investigating an unusual fire.
Firefighters responded to a fire on Kraft Avenue and East 8th Street in Panama City around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. It wasn’t a house that caught fire but a semi-truck.
Firefighters cut through padlocks to get into the smoldering truck. Fire officials say it was packed as though someone was ready to move. Everything inside either burned or suffered major smoke damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
