Bay County declares state of emergency, monitors Tropical Storm Ida
About 11 a.m. Monday morning Bay County Commission Chairman Bill Dozier signed a declaration of a local state of emergency for Bay County due to potential effects of Tropical Storm Ida.
The declaration is necessary to recoup federal funding associated with possible expenditures related to preparation for or damage from the storm.
