There was an added attraction at today’s Moving Wall ceremonies at Oaks By The Bay Park in St. Andrews. The display is called the Wall Of Pictures.
Darrell Hertz, a U.S. Army veteran from Southport started putting together his wall of pictures honoring military veterans over two years ago. Today’s display focused mainly on photos from the Vietnam War.
The majority of the pictures come from veterans from our community.
Hertz will have his Wall Of Pictures on display during Tuesday’s Veteran Day ceremonies at the Marina Civic Center with photos honoring vets not only from the Vietnam War, But those from World War I and World War II and the Korean War.
