Spinnaker Beach Club is a haven for vampires tonight…but they’re getting scary for a good cause. The Toys for Kids Foundation Halloween is well underway at Spinnaker.
As you walk in the door you’re greeted by a coffin with a vampire that does try to grab you. Needless to say that is the theme this year…Rise of Queen Isabella. The whole club is transformed into a vampire’s lair.
Spinnaker hosts the event every Halloween for the toys for kids foundation and it is Spinnaker’s biggest party of the year. Ten dollars gets you in if you’re under 21, five gets you in if you’re over 21. The party lasts until about 4 a.m. so there’s still time to stop by. All proceeds go to Toys for Kids and will directly benefit kids in Bay County. Toys for Kids provides Christmas gifts for needy families in the Bay County Area. Last year brought in about 10,000 dollars for the organization and of course they hope to beat that number this year. Beth Davis helps coordinate the event and says that Spinnaker plans for the event almost a year in advance but that it’s a fun event to plan.
Toys for Kids will host a toy drive the first Sunday in December in order to raise more funds before Christmas.
