The use of a stolen credit card at a local store has resulted in the capture on security video of two suspects in a string of car burglaries on Panama City Beach.
The video was made Saturday, October 4, 2008, at a gas station in Panama City as a white male purchased gas with the stolen credit card for what appeared to be a ‘01 to ‘03 gray Dodge Intrepid. The vehicle was driven by a white female, early to mid 20’s, with blonde hair.
For the past three weeks there have been a string of car burglaries in the east section of Front Beach Road and along Thomas Drive on Panama City Beach. In each case, the suspects had shattered the vehicle windows to make entry. Purses, wallets, and GPS systems were among the items stolen.
The male suspect is in his mid 20’s, thin build, avg. height, dark hair, with a thin goatee and long sideburns.
Anyone with information about these suspects is asked to call the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at 747-4700, ext. 2604, or Crime Stoppers at 785-TIPS.
