Jackson County, Fla:
On December 1, 2009, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residential alarm at 3732 Jerry Ln. just outside of Marianna. Upon arrival deputies spotted a white Chevrolet four door car backed up to the front door. A white male identified as Patrick Hudson of Chipley, Florida was walking from the front door of the residence.
Upon further investigation it was determined that Hudson had forced his way into the residence. Hudson was taken into custody.
During the course of the investigation it was learned that Hudson had stolen Christmas ornaments from a yard at 2373 Fairview Rd. and that Hudson had also burglarized a barn at 2265 Tharps Rd. west of Cottondale.
The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office was notified and sent Investigators over to speak with Hudson. As a result the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office was able to clear up several burglaries in Holmes County as well. Hudson is charged in Jackson County with two counts of burglary, one count of grand theft, and one count of theft.
